Kathryn and I worked together at the University of Bristol for five years. During that time she transformed our leadership development offer as we worked to tackle our gender pay gap. First came the Female Leadership Initiative (FLi) for all staff at any career stage. Then came Elevate, an innovative programme bringing together staff from Black, Asian or Minority ethnic backgrounds who identify as female from universities across the South West. She embodies the Organisation Development mantra of implementing strategy with the full engagement of its people, especially in the way she is leading the realisation of line management within our academic community....
