Tailored leadership and team development programme design and delivery

Working with the commissioning partner, we co-create programmes that align to your organisation’s purpose and goals. Our experience of designing and managing inclusive and engaging programmes of all sizes, enable excellent outcomes and lasting impact. Key areas of support include working with aspiring and existing leaders and those in transition.

Kathryn’s work has contributed to exposing and collaboratively contributing to the redressing of gender inequities in Leadership; in so doing, she has not shied away from racial equity. Her work has resulted in the introduction of a cross institutional bespoke programme which centralises global majority women and their development. - Kathryn is truly an action centred ally.

Executive and team coaching

Tapping into our range of significant management and leadership experience, we partner with individuals and senior teams to increase their capacity to lead from who they are, find new perspectives and choose ways to build sustainable working relationships. With a holistic, systems approach, we bring challenge and support in equal measure.

I wholeheartedly endorse Kathryn, my leadership development mentor, for her outstanding guidance and transformative impact. I was fascinated to be introduced to Myers-Briggs's personality traits and action learning by her; she fosters growth tailored to individual needs. Creating the award-winning ELEVATE program showcases her innovative leadership in diversity and inclusion. She engages others with a warm and authentic style, encouraging self-discovery through her exceptional active listening skills and powerful open-ended questions. Her perseverance and commitment inspire growth, making her an invaluable asset to any professional seeking personal and professional development.

Organisational development and change projects

Collaborating with and advising leadership teams on effective approaches to planning and implementing organisational change and development projects, we will work with you from initial thinking and planning through to delivery.

Kathryn and I worked together at the University of Bristol for five years. During that time she transformed our leadership development offer as we worked to tackle our gender pay gap. First came the Female Leadership Initiative (FLi) for all staff at any career stage. Then came Elevate, an innovative programme bringing together staff from Black, Asian or Minority ethnic backgrounds who identify as female from universities across the South West. She embodies the Organisation Development mantra of implementing strategy with the full engagement of its people, especially in the way she is leading the realisation of line management within our academic community. It started by working with academic leaders to agree on some fundamental management principles that were flexible enough and worked for them – one size does not fit all. Then came a pilot with some volunteer schools as she prepares the University for a wider roll out.

Bespoke events and awayday facilitation

Time away from our workspaces creates an opportunity for new thinking, strategy planning and working through those knotty challenges. We co-create sessions that enable these activities to be focused on with an engaging and potentially transformative approach.

Kathryn is a true collaborator. She commissioned me to facilitate a module on the University of Bristol LEAP programme. She was crystal clear on the outcomes she wanted and how the module would fit into the overall programme and communicated this brilliantly, making my side of the preparation and delivery straightforward and focused about what was needed. It was clear that participants found her programme engaging and relevant, generating good discussion and thinking. Kathryn’s ability to assess what intervention was needed, create a programme and deliver it, is second to none and I would relish working with her again.

Establishing a people and organisational development strategy and service

With significant experience and knowledge of the essential elements and approaches required to support a thriving service, including organisational culture, we advise and support its effective inception right through to implementation.

I worked with Kathryn for several years. Her skills and experience of people and organisations shine through enabling her to bring humanity into the organisational system. Whether she is working with an individual coaching client or collaborating across an organization, she seeks to effect a positive change.

She is a passionate driver of change, identifies data to demonstrate the need for change, has the strategic innovative approach and drive to initiate and implement it and then secures evidence of the impact of the intervention.

One example was identifying the need for a programme for women from other ethnic backgrounds to enable and support their career progression. She worked to design and commission the programme which has run successfully and been award winning within the Higher Education sector, for several years with significant impact both for the alumni and the organization.

She is data driven but always values led. She is creative, engaged and engaging and a pleasure to work with.

We work with a range of director-level teams to support them in their development and their span of responsibilities, including the organisational design of the people structures and processes to support the strategy.

“What I enjoy about working with Kathryn is her unbounded sense of curiosity and appetite to learn. And as someone who has developed a deep interest in the craft of leadership it places her on the leading edge of thinkers in that area. Coupled with her skills as a coach, supervisor and group facilitator I can highly recommend her as a skilled practitioner to engage with individuals and teams in your organisation”
